Mastering Performance Management

BUSINESS MANAGEMENT

This is a 2-day workshop that develops the knowledge, skills and attributes required by leaders to effectively manage the performance of others. 

 

Competencies developed by this workshop

This workshop focuses on developing the Setting and Reviewing Performance competence and includes the key actions:

  1. Sets performance goals – collaboratively works with direct reports to set meaningful performance objectives, sets specific performance goals and identifies measures for evaluating goal achievement. 

  2. Establishes approach - Collaboratively works with direct reports to identify the behaviours, knowledge and skills required to achieve goals and identifies specific behaviours, knowledge, and skill areas for focus and evaluation.

  3. Tracks performance – Implements a system or uses techniques to track performance against goals and to track the acquisition and use of appropriate behaviours, knowledge and skills.

  4. Evaluates performance – Holds regular formal discussions with each direct report to discuss progress towards goals and review performance and evaluates each goal, behaviour, knowledge, and skill area.

Mastering Work Place Coaching

This 2-day workshop is designed to help participants understand the benefits and practice of Coaching.  As participants go through the program they will recognize the value of coaching skills and be able to list the benefits of coaching to the organisation and individuals involved.

 

This workshop will also increase the participants’ level of self- awareness about their impact as a Leader and Coach. Through this experience, participants will gain an insight into the behaviours that play an active part in supporting the development of others and gain the opportunity to practice these behaviours.  They will also gain the opportunity to compare their behaviours with those behaviours required to help others grow. Through feedback, they are provided with an opportunity to further refine their behavioural skills.

TAE Job Skills Coach

Effective training and assessment of job competence is an essential skills to build a learning culture in our organization. This course addresses this by preparing you to function as a professional trainer or assessor in the workplace.

 

You will develop the skills necessary to create a meaningful learning environment, design learning processes and products, manage the learning process and develop skills in assessing other people’s learning progress. You will be able to deliver training in a specific area of subject matter expertise.

 

The content of this training are mapped to the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110) under the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF). To complete this course, you have to undertake 10 TAE unit of competencies and complete all required assessments, such as a professional workplace environment assessment, Session plans, assessment plans and actual delivery of your training to learners.
